Which UK agencies specialise in video game marketing?

I’ve finally been taking some time to try getting involved in more video marketing, advertising and PR writing. I’ve started with finding out which UK agencies do this kind of work.

Since I know lots of people are interested in this kind of thing, I thought I’d share.

Here’s a list of the agencies I found. A lot of them are Nintendo-related, since I’m basically a super-fan.

Fishburn Hedges – A communications agency that provides corporate and European product launch support to Nintendo. www.fishburn-hedges.com

CakeSupports Nintendo UK’s in-house marketing team on individual projects. www.cakegroup.com

KarmaramaA former holder of the Nintendo UK advertising account. www.karmarama.com

Leo Burnett London – Created award-winning ads for the Nintendo Wii. I wonder what they would’ve come up with for Wii U? www.leoburnett.co.uk

Good Relations – A PR and communications agency retained by Nintendo UK for corporate and consumer support prior to 2012. www.goodrelationsgroup.com

MEC Access – A media agency that created an award-winning partnership campaign designed to get older people playing Nintendo DS. www.mecglobal.co.uk

Fever – A consumer PR agency recently appointed by Sony to handle the launch of PlayStation 4. www.feverpr.com

Amplify – A marketing agency “immersed in gaming”, which supports PlayStation in Europe. www.weareamplify.com

Full Fat – A PR company used by Capcom for the launch of Resident Evil 6 and the Golden Joysticks Awards for media coverage. They even have a page on their site titled “Videogame & Technology”.

The Red ConsultancyBelieved to handle Activision’s UK and European PR, media relations, social media and events PR. www.redconsultancy.com

Now to think about exactly what to do with this information…

    • Thanks Daniel, I hadn’t heard of them before but they look pretty good. Do you work for them?
